Formerly managing General Agent of the "Peninsular Life Insurance Co. Jacksonville "in 1976, Florida, Mr. George C. Salem's dream remained in establishing his own company.
Back from the USA in 1980, and despite the painful war events that invaded Lebanon, Mr. George C. Salem and his brother Mr. Raja Salem prepared the foundation of a Lebanese Insurance Company in 1981, AMANA INSURANCE Co. S.A.L.
The company was registered in the Commercial Register of Beirut under the number 43953 on 07.28.1981 and the first policy was signed on November 1st 1981.
Throughout all these years, thriving through all economic and changing market conditions, AMANA INSURANCE CO. has grown to achieve its goals. Relying on strength, experience, commitment and passion to protection, it is now accomplishing a 5096 yearly increase in total production.
